Another injury has hit next week’s UFC 158 fight card as Johnny Eduardo has been forced off the line-up after suffering an injury during the final stage of his training camp. UFC officials revealed the change earlier today but the injury type remain undisclosed.
Eduardo had an 11-fight win streak snapped when he made his UFC debut against Raphael Assuncao but after an extended layoff due to injury, rebounded with a win over veteran fighter Jeff Curran. The Brazilian was scheduled to meet Yves Jabouin at the Montreal event but will not be forced onto the sidelines for an undisclosed length of time.
With ten days remaining until UFC 158, it is unclear if the UFC will attempt to find a replacement for Jabouin.
UFC 158 takes place March 16 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
